I am still trying to figure out the proper way to repair a dead BIOS on Gigabyte's DualBIOS setup. What's the benefit for using single bios setting? what's the reason for that switch exist? I read the manual but it didn't really explain in step by step.Īlso, I see that there's another switch that can be switch between dual bios to single bios. If above steps are wrong, I want to know the right way to recover the dead bios.
Is this method correct? I'm afraid to damage my motherboard if I flip the bios switch when my pc is running or it doesnt matter in the bios screen? While in the Bios screen, flip the switch back to the backed up bios Turn off PC, and then flip the switch back to main bios and boot up to UEFI (bios screen)Ģ. Let's say I flashed the backup bios, and it was horrible bios that I can't even get to the bios screen.įrom what I'm understanding, in this case,ġ. My motherboard is fine and works great now, but I've been wondering what if I screw up one of my bios in the future?
